On-Call Babysitter / Event Childcare Provider

We specialize in dependable, professional in-home care, overnight support, and on-site childcare for weddings, corporate events, and more. We’re seeking nurturing, energetic, and experienced caregivers to join our growing team of trusted professionals.

Position Summary:

As a caregiver with Elite Sitters & Care Co., you’ll provide warm, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care to children ranging from infants to age 12. Assignments vary and may include occasional babysitting, last-minute backup care, overnight shifts, and group childcare during special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment at all times
• Communicate clearly with parents before and after each shift
• Follow specific care instructions (meals, naps, bedtime routines)
• Represent the agency professionally and reliably
• Arrive on time and prepared for each assignment

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• At least 1 year of paid childcare experience
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified before first shift
• Able to pass background and reference checks
• Reliable transportation and phone with internet access
• Willing to work as an independent contractor (1099)

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with infants, multiples, or children with special needs
• College coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or Family Studies
• Flexibility for nights, weekends, or overnight care
• Comfortable caring for up to 4 children (depending on age and group setting)

Hiring Process:

✔ Once we launch, you’ll be matched with families based on availability and preferences.
✔ DMV Area Only – You can choose your travel distance once hired.
