Hourly: $40/hr

Hours: (M-F) 12pm-8pm or 1pm-9pm

Ages: 3 mos

Are you a compassionate, experienced nanny who loves supporting newborns and first-time parents? A welcoming family is seeking a professional, engaging, and proactive nanny to care for their baby, who will be about 3 months old at the start. The baby was born prematurely and is currently on a feeding tube, so the family is looking for someone with experience caring for premature infants or who is comfortable learning and following specialized care routines. Mom will be on leave until November, so the nanny will work closely alongside her as a team before she returns to work. Responsibilities include attentive and loving infant care, baby laundry, washing and sanitizing bottles, and helping keep the kitchen tidy. A Spanish-speaking nanny would be a wonderful bonus. The family also has a small, very sweet dog who may occasionally need help being let out into the backyard and wiped off if muddy—she loves cuddles and playtime! The ideal candidate is warm, professional, eager to learn the baby’s needs, and committed to providing thoughtful, attentive care.

Qualifications⁣

• At least 5 years of recent professional nannying experience⁣
• Must be legal to work in the US
• Must be local to the DC-metro area (DC, MD, VA)
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record & car⁣
• Must be Covid-vaccinated with recent vaccine or Booster
• Must have up-to-date Flu and TDAP shots
• Must be CPR & First Aid certified

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
