On-Call Maintenance Technician/Handyman

Maintenance Technician – On-Call / Project-Based
Location: Cincinnati, OH area (Various Sites)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team on an on-call or project-based arrangement. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of maintenance skills and be ready to respond to various maintenance needs across our Ohio properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks including:
• Flooring: Installation and repair of laminate, vinyl, and tile flooring.
• Plumbing: Address minor leaks, faucet replacements, and drain issues.
• Electrical: Replace light fixtures, switches, and troubleshoot minor electrical problems.
• Carpentry: Repair doors, windows, and cabinetry.
• Painting: Touch-ups and full-room painting as needed.
• HVAC: Basic maintenance and filter replacements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in general maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Availability for on-call assignments and flexible scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
• Experience with property management maintenance systems.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
