Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and safety-conscious On-Site Operations Supervisor to oversee daily field operations. In this role, you will be the boots on the ground, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service, all equipment remains in peak operational condition, and strict safety protocols are met without compromise.
As the primary on-site link between our field crew and the office, you will report directly to the Business Development Manager (BDM) and serve as the main point of contact for our clients on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Site & Staff Supervision: Oversee daily field operations, ensuring the crew is punctual, tasks are delegated effectively, and work is completed to the highest quality standards.
- Equipment Compliance: Inspect, track, and maintain all on-site machinery and tools. Ensure all equipment is up to industry standards, safe to use, and properly accounted for.
- Permit & Document Management: Secure necessary work permits (e.g., hot work, confined space, working at heights) and handle on-site documentation before operations begin.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary, friendly face for the client on-site. Address client requests, provide progress updates, and resolve any immediate issues to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce a zero-compromise safety culture. Ensure all staff adhere strictly to company safety protocols, local regulations, and correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.
- Reporting: Maintain continuous, clear communication with the Business Development Manager (BDM), providing daily or weekly operational reports, incident updates, and client feedback.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in an industrial, construction, facility management, or specialized field operations supervisory role.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid, clean driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle to commute between sites and transport light equipment if necessary.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage field staff firmly but fairly.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client expectations professionally under pressure.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical-thinking skills to handle permit bottlenecks, equipment malfunctions, or sudden schedule changes on-site.
