On-Site Project Manager-Lighting

We are looking for an experienced On-Site Project Manager-Lighting and lighting controls to oversee the installation, coordination, and delivery of lighting systems on-site. The role involves managing site activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, ensuring quality execution, and supporting commissioning and handover of lighting and lighting control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site activities related to lighting installation and integration
• Supervise installation of lighting fixtures, control systems, panels, and associated infrastructure
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution
• Review and interpret lighting drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals
• Ensure installations are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards
• Monitor site progress and update project schedules in coordination with project management team
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements
• Identify and resolve technical and installation issues on-site
• Coordinate with lighting designers and consultants to maintain design intent
• Oversee cable routing, addressing, termination, and panel connections
• Support programming and commissioning teams during system integration
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of lighting equipment
• Manage and track materials, deliveries, and site inventory
• Coordinate mock-ups and assist in client/consultant demonstrations
• Prepare site reports, progress reports, and issue logs
• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards
• Attend site meetings and provide technical inputs when required
• Coordinate snagging, de-snagging, and final inspections
• Support project close-out, documentation, and handover process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in on-site execution of lighting projects
• Strong knowledge of lighting systems, installation practices, and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders on large-scale projects
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and reporting skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in museums, theme parks, facades, or architectural lighting projects
• Familiarity with lighting control systems (DMX, DALI, KNX, etc.)
• Basic understanding of commissioning and programming processes
• Knowledge of international standards and local authority requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ﷼12,000.00 - ﷼15,000.00 per month
