On the Road Supervisor

Position Summary:
The On-the-Road Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence by supervising delivery teams, maintaining compliance with company standards, and supporting a high-quality customer experience. This field-based role involves frequent travel between delivery locations, contractor check-ins, and on-site problem-solving

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate delivery teams in the field to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer service standards.
Conduct route audits, ride-alongs, and performance evaluations with independent contractors and delivery drivers.
Provide coaching, feedback, and support to delivery teams to improve efficiency and professionalism.
Resolve customer escalations on-site and act as a liaison between delivery teams, customers, and the RAS dispatch/operations center.
Perform quality checks on deliveries and installations, ensuring products are delivered in good condition and services meet or exceed expectations.
Ensure proper documentation, inventory handling, and use of company technology (e.g., handheld devices or delivery software).
Assist in onboarding and training new contractors and drivers.
Maintain a visible presence in the market through daily visits to routes and terminals.
Submit reports on team performance, delivery issues, and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, delivery operations, or field supervision.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and logistics best practice.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
Proficiency in mobile technology and route optimization tools.

Working Conditions:
Frequent travel throughout assigned region.
Field-based role with exposure to warehouse and delivery environments.
May require early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
