Job Description

Under general supervision and according to established policies, procedures and in compliance with federal and state laws, performs pre-employment-related processes. The New Associate Navigator assist candidate with onboarding and support responsibilities as delegated by the Talent Acquisition Leadership to assist with efforts in onboarding and hiring according to established procedures and policies.
Coordinates with new hires and finalizes new employee requirements as part of the onboarding process to ensure new hire have completed all requirements to attend orientation. Also includes administrative responsibilities to maintain confidential records associated with the employment process. Processes I-9s through the I-9 lifecycle in compliance with Federal regulations and guidelines including e-Verify.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete a variety of duties with Pre-Hire and Onboarding process for new hires:
    • Works closely with recruiters to ensure new hire is ready to start the Onboarding process
    • May schedule New Hires for appointment with the Associate Occupational Health
    • Coordinates all pre-hire documents to be emailed to candidate via the appropriate
      systems
    • Assist new hires when completing necessary pre-hire task within the Onboarding
      process
    • Assists new hires as needed with onboarding questions
  • Complete administrative tasks related to candidate screening and onboarding to facilitate a smooth operation of the department for staff and visitors:
    • Order and review the background check results
    • Ensure new hire has clearance to attend orientation by Associate Occupational Health
    • Upload primary source verification documents into iCIMS
  • Performs general office and administrative tasks, responsible for maintenance of confidential files:
    • May assist with making ID badges for new hires and other employees as needed
    • Administrative tasks as delegated by Recruiter(s) or Manager
    • Maintain I-9 files within Hire Right
    • Reviews forms are complete and accurate for audit purposes
    • Submit competency related documents to Imaging
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Position requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field. One (1) year of experience in employment/recruitment, or business office setting. Relevant work experience may substitute for degree requirement. Excellent verbal/written communication skills, sound judgment and exceptional listening skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet applications.
Previous experience working in Human Resources in a healthcare recruitment setting or healthcare leadership experience preferred. PHR certification preferred.
