WEE World CDC is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and faith-driven individual to join our team as a teacher for our one-year-old classroom. This role requires someone who loves working with toddlers, demonstrates strong classroom management skills, and is called to serve in a Christ-centered early childhood ministry.

Our teachers play a vital role in helping children grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and cognitively during their foundational years. As part of our mission, all staff must model Christ’s love daily and partner with families in raising children in a God-honoring environment.

Qualifications:

• A professing Christian with a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
• Must attend a Bible-believing church regularly and be actively involved in ministry or service.
• Able to provide a pastoral letter of recommendation affirming church involvement and Christian character.
• Minimum of 1 year of preschool classroom experience, preferably with toddlers.
• Completion of the Florida DCF 45-hour Child Care Training.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate milestones and a love for nurturing early learning.
• Must be dependable, patient, and have strong communication skills with both children and adults.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Creating a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for toddlers.
• Leading daily routines such as diapering, feeding, playtime, and naptime with attentiveness and care.
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate, engaging activities that promote developmental milestones.
• Integrating prayer, worship, and biblical truth into the daily classroom experience.
• Observing and documenting developmental progress and communicating with parents regularly.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space.
• Collaborating with co-teachers and administration to support classroom goals and center-wide events.
• Attending staff meetings, trainings, and other required professional development opportunities.
• Supporting and participating in the overall mission and spiritual values of WEE World and First Baptist Church of Palmetto.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
