Language-Specific Teleconsultation Doctor (Pay-Per-Consultation Model)

Role Summary

We are seeking qualified language-specific medical doctors (e.g., Chinese-speaking, Arabic-speaking, Spanish-speaking, etc.) to provide remote teleconsultation services to patients and travelers who prefer consultation in their native language.

The doctor will conduct video, audio, or chat consultations, assess patient conditions, provide medical advice, and issue prescriptions in compliance with applicable medical regulations. Compensation will be on a per-consultation basis.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

Conduct telemedicine consultations via video, audio, or chat platforms

Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions

Provide medical advice, treatment plans, and follow-up guidance

Issue electronic prescriptions as per regulatory guidelines

Maintain accurate and compliant medical records

Patient Communication

Communicate fluently in the assigned language (e.g., Chinese) to ensure clear understanding

Educate patients on disease management, medication use, and preventive care

Provide culturally sensitive and patient-centric care

Compliance & Documentation

Follow telemedicine guidelines and local medical regulations

Ensure patient confidentiality and data privacy (GDPR/HIPAA or relevant laws)

Maintain professional indemnity and licensing compliance

Platform Collaboration

Work with telehealth platform teams for scheduling and technical support

Participate in quality audits and clinical governance reviews

Provide availability schedules for on-demand consultations

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory

MBBS / MD / Equivalent medical degree

Valid medical license in the practicing jurisdiction (e.g., GMC for UK, MCI/NMC for India, etc.)

Fluency in English and the target language (e.g., Chinese Mandarin)

Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience (GP or specialist preferred)

Preferred

Experience in telemedicine or digital health platforms

Board certification in Family Medicine / Internal Medicine / Pediatrics / relevant specialty

Familiarity with e-prescription systems and telehealth tools

Skills & Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication in target language

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Cultural sensitivity and patient empathy

Basic computer and telehealth platform proficiency

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ﷼20.00 - ﷼70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 48 per week
