Responsibilities:
- Teach online English lessons using the provided curriculum and materials for Korean students of various age groups.
- Lead engaging, interactive activities that strengthen English skills and communication.
- Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and complete daily class assessments.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to support different learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and builds confidence.
- Conduct online classes in 25-, 15-, and 7-minute formats based on individual learning goals.
- Use Zoom and other digital tools effectively to support student engagement.
- Complete all required reports and administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, and punctuality.
Required Experience
- ESL teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ESL teaching methods and best practices.
- Proficient with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
- Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an engaging, student-focused learning environment.
- Experience teaching one-on-one lessons and meeting individual learner needs.
- Proven ability to deliver effective lessons and support measurable student progress.
- Experience teaching beginner-level ESL students is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Required).
- Must be a citizen of the U.S., Canada, or the U.K. (Applicants from other countries will not be accepted.)
- Stable landline or Ethernet internet connection (Wi-Fi only is NOT allowed).
- High-quality headset with a working microphone (NO earbuds permitted).
- Valid government-issued ID (Passport or Driver’s License).
- Professional home workspace setup with a clean, appropriate background.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Prior teaching experience (homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring) is preferred but not required.
- ESL teaching certification or credentials are a plus but not mandatory.
Work Schedule
- Evening Shift: 18:00 – 24:00 KST (04:00 – 10:00 AM EST)
- Must be available for at least four consecutive hours, five days a week (Monday to Friday). This schedule is non-negotiable.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
