Onsite IT Endpoint Specialist

We are seeking an Onsite IT Endpoint Specialist to partner with our plant operations teams in driving efficiency and innovation on the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will design, implement, and support technology solutions that improve processes, enhance system performance, and enable smarter ways of working. From researching cost-effective tools and best practices to providing hands-on support for hardware, software, and mobile devices, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly while advancing automation and digitization across the plant.


Responsibilities

  • Apply research skills to identify, evaluate, and recommend innovative methods and solutions to complex business needs.
  • Stay knowledgeable of emerging technologies, analyzing their potential impact and benefits for plant operations.
  • Design, build, configure, deploy, and support endpoint technology solutions across hardware, software, and mobile devices.
  • Provide endpoint application support and collaborate with IT teams to deploy, configure, manage, and optimize endpoint technologies (e.g., SCCM, Intune, MDM).
  • Continuously assess endpoint performance for scalability, reliability, and user experience; implement improvements as needed.
  • Develop and document troubleshooting procedures; conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
  • Address endpoint-related integration challenges by partnering with IT teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT support teams and end-users.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for endpoint technologies, advising on best practices and solutions.
  • Lead the implementation of endpoint solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Manage application and patch deployment to ensure compliance, security, and operational resilience.


Qualifications

  • Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, handheld scanners, printers, and related devices.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT support or endpoint management experience.
  • Industry-related certifications preferred (A+, Network+, MTA, MCTS).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Windows Server, TCP/IP, and endpoint virtualization platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, and application packaging/deployment.
  • Solid understanding of endpoint technologies, device management, and security solutions.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions and enterprise imaging/deployment practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills with proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in manufacturing or plant floor support is a strong plus.

Hiring Range: $27.40 - $42.96 USD
