The College of Law at ADU is making significant contributions to academic excellence both nationally and internationally. It is ranked by subject in the top 251–300 globally in the QS World University Rankings by Subject (Law).

We are currently seeking several new faculty members at the levels of Assistant and Associate Professor. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Penal Law; Administrative and Constitutional Law; Economics, Finance, and Taxation Law; Law and Technology; and Commercial Law.

The College of Law is a regional leader in legal education, offering a Bachelor of Law, a Master of Public Law, a Master of Private Law, a Master of Law (MLL) in Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence, and a PhD in Law. Our programs are CAA and WASC-accredited. Our curriculum, which is primarily taught in Arabic with English support, reflects our commitment to academic excellence and cultural diversity. Applicants should be able to teach in both English and Arabic; applicants with English-only proficiency are also encouraged to apply.

Minimum Years of Experience/Nature of Relevant Experience Required

· Have a doctoral or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.

· Have demonstrated significant scholarly accomplishments appropriate to their discipline.

· Have at least eight years of full-time teaching and research experience (with key research

publications) to be considered for Associate Professor.

· Have demonstrated excellent teaching ability and shown continuing active engagement

with students in and outside the classroom.

Special Skills and Abilities

· Communication/teaching skills, presentation skills, computer skills (MS Office).

· Have a teaching qualification or be willing to complete one under the UK HEA

Fellowship Scheme.

· Demonstrated commitment to publishing in Scopus publications.

· Clear engagement with research networks (evidence-based).

· Demonstration of being a ‘good university citizen.’

If applying to be an Associate Professor, please list your top 10 Scopus publications, along with a five-line explanation for each paper of why it is a good contribution to academic literature.
3. Please include a two-page research proposal stating what research you will conduct over the next two to four years while working at ADU’s College of Law.
