Open-Rank (Associate/Full) Faculty Positions in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics

The Management Information Systems Department at Özyeğin University’s Business School invites applications for two open-rank faculty positions (Associate or Full Professor). We are seeking internationally oriented scholars with a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems and Data Analytics or a related field, who demonstrate excellence in research, teaching, and service. Candidates for Associate or Full Professor positions should have the established record of research publications in top tier journals, along with evidence of high quality teaching. Rank and salary will be commensurate with background, qualifications, and experience.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates who:

• Have an established record of scholarly publications in management information systems and business analytics
• Demonstrate teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
• Show potential for leadership within the department and wider academic community

AI Integration

Given our school’s strategic emphasis on digital transformation, we particularly welcome applicants who engage with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in one or more of the following ways:

1. Conduct research on AI-related topics in management information systems and business analtics
2. Employ AI-enhanced methods in empirical or theoretical research
3. Integrate AI-related themes or tools into their teaching of business analytics
4. Demonstrate pedagogical adaptability to AI-supported learning environments
5. Contribute to preparing students for analytics-driven careers

Responsibilities

• Conducting high-quality research and publishing in top-tier journals;
• Teaching core and elective courses at undergraduate and graduate levels;
• Advising and mentoring students;
• Contributing to departmental service, curriculum building, and broader academic engagement.

We particularly seek colleagues who can help us advance our transition toward a Business Analytics–oriented MIS program through curriculum innovation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and industry engagement.

Özyeğin University’s Business School is AACSB-accredited, with a collegial and research-active environment. Our faculty publish in leading ABS 4, 4* journals.
