Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain Open Systems infrastructure (Linux/Unix, AIX, Solaris, or similar platforms).
Manage system performance, capacity, and reliability to ensure optimal uptime and resource utilization.
Implement and maintain security controls, patch management, and access policies in compliance with IT governance and cybersecurity standards.
Integrate open systems with enterprise applications, databases, and middleware solutions.
Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting, Python, or Ansible.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, Database, Application, and Security) to deliver end-to-end IT solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and documentation of issues.
Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
3 years of experience in managing and operating Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems, with proven experience on the OpenText platform.
Experience working on digital archiving projects and integrated ECM solutions in governmental or large enterprise environments.
Experience in administration and maintenance of OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, and Extended ECM.
Proficiency in integrating OpenText with external systems such as Active Directory, email systems, OutSystems, and WSO2.
Strong knowledge of security policies, permission management, and compliance controls (e.g., NCA, NDMO).
Experience in designing workflows, digital archiving processes, and performance optimization.
Certifications:
OpenText Certified Administrator or Developer certification is a major advantage.
Certifications in ITIL or Project Management (Agile/Scrum) are considered a plus.
