Operating Room Nurse- Nauru Deployment

Job Title: Operating Room (OR) Nurse

Location: Nauru

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team. The OR Nurse will provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection prevention guidelines
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition throughout procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies
• Provide post-operative care and patient education as required
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary surgical team

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Valid nursing license/registration (as per local regulatory authority)
• Minimum 8 -10 years of experience as an OR/Scrub Nurse
• Current BLS/ACLS certification (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and aseptic techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work shifts, including on-call duties if required
