Operation and Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an Operation & Maintenance Engineer to manage the operation, inspection, and preventive maintenance of building systems across multiple projects. The role ensures smooth facility operations, compliance with authority inspections, and seamless project handovers to clients and building management teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend authority inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare daily reports and update site progress to MD and Area Manager.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, and fire alarm systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and building systems; maintain logs of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Handle handover of units to clients and buildings to the management team.
• Assist office engineer with project documentation.
• Oversee maintenance for specialized areas such as Health Club and Roof Pool (post BCC
• Communicate maintenance activities with building occupants and document all interactions.
• Maintain separate documentation for multiple projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in building maintenance and facility management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, and fire safety systems.
• Excellent organizational, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with preventive maintenance software or CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management System.).
• Knowledge of UAE building codes and authority regulations.
