About the Role

ILA Biomarine is looking for a proactive, detail-driven Operations Executive who understands the fast-moving world of international trading. You’ll make sure procurement flows smoothly, logistics stay tight, documentation stays flawless, and shipments land where they’re supposed to—on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities

Import–Export Operations

• Handle end-to-end import and export processes, including documentation, invoicing, and compliance.
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs.
• Track shipments and ensure timely clearance and delivery.

Procurement & Supply Chain

• Support procurement team with vendor coordination, order placement, and follow-ups.
• Monitor purchase cycles, stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment.
• Maintain supplier records and negotiate basic commercial terms.

Logistics & Coordination

• Plan and execute logistics for domestic and international movement of goods.
• Optimize freight costs and timelines through vendor comparison and negotiation.
• Coordinate internally across sales, finance, and warehousing teams.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and manage import/export documentation (BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, Insurance, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs, shipping regulations, and internal SOPs.
• Maintain updated MIS reports and operational dashboards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in an import–export trading firm (mandatory).
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Import–export domain basics
• Procurement processes
• Supply chain coordination
• Logistics operations
• Familiar with international trade documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or similar fields.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple moving parts.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with chemicals, commodities, or related sectors.
• Negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
