We are hiring for Transport procurement Executive for Logistics Industry

Location - Bhannerghatta Road

Salary-Upto 4.8 Lakhs PA

Key Responsibilities

1. Fleet Sourcing & Coordination

• Source commercial vehicles (LCV, trucks, trailers, container vehicles, etc.) based on shipment requirements.
• Ensure timely placement of vehicles for pickup and delivery.
• Maintain a strong network of fleet owners, brokers, and transport vendors.
• Track vehicle movements and ensure operations meet service timelines.

2. Vendor Development & Management

• Identify new vendors and expand transport capacity in key routes and markets.
• Conduct vendor evaluation, onboarding, and documentation compliance.
• Maintain healthy vendor relationships and ensure reliable service.

3. Cost & Rate Management

• Negotiate transport rates to achieve cost efficiency and maintain profitability.
• Monitor market freight prices and share competitive analysis with management.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and improve gross profit margins.

4. Operational Coordination

• Align with internal departments such as operations, dispatch, billing, and customer service.
• Coordinate load planning, scheduling, and route optimization.
• Ensure timely POD (Proof of Delivery) collection and documentation submission.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain daily vehicle placement, cost sheets, vendor performance reports.
• Track KPIs such as on-time placement, route cost, vehicle utilization, etc.
• Highlight operational gaps and suggest improvements.

6. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure vehicles comply with regulatory requirements (documents, permits, fitness certificates, insurance, etc.).
• Promote safe fleet operations and adherence to company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹480,000.00 per year
