Role Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end driver recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management process. The role ensures that a consistent pipeline of trained, reliable riders/drivers is available to support daily EV delivery operations. This position requires strong operational understanding, team coordination, problem-solving, and field management skills.
Key Responsibilities1. Driver Recruitment & Onboarding
- Source drivers through field recruitment, referrals, agencies, and digital channels.
- Conduct interviews, document verification (KYC, DL, Aadhaar, etc.), and background checks.
- Manage onboarding process including agreements, ID creation, and induction formalities.
- Maintain daily/weekly hiring dashboards and fulfil hiring targets for each cluster/zone.
2. Driver Training & Development
- Conduct training on EV handling, safe riding, battery swapping/charging, route management, and client SOPs.
- Train drivers on delivery apps, attendance systems, and customer behaviour guidelines.
- Implement refresher training, safety workshops, and performance improvement sessions.
- Monitor training effectiveness and certify drivers before deployment.
3. Fleet & Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with fleet, maintenance, and charging/battery teams for smooth driver deployment.
- Ensure drivers follow daily route plans, shift schedules, and operational SOPs.
- Support in resolving on-ground issues including vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or route delays.
- Work closely with cluster managers for daily manpower requirements.
4. Performance Tracking & Compliance
- Track daily driver attendance, productivity, and delivery KPIs.
- Monitor behavioural issues, adherence to safety norms, and disciplinary actions.
- Reduce attrition through regular engagement and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and partner requirements.
5. Stakeholder & Team Management
- Manage a team of recruiters, trainers, or field executives (if applicable).
- Coordinate with clients, HR, fleet operations, and city management teams.
- Prepare weekly MIS reports, performance summaries, and hiring forecasts.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
