Operation In-charge

• An operations in-charge is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, leading and developing staff, optimizing processes, and implementing strategic plans to meet business objectives. They also manage resources, monitor performance, and ensure all activities align with company goals.

Core responsibilities

• Strategy and planning: Develop and implement operational strategies, and contribute to long-term planning to achieve business objectives.

• Team leadership: Supervise, coach, and mentor staff, create schedules, and work with HR on hiring to maximize team performance and morale.

• Budget and finance: Manage and monitor operational budgets, allocate resources, and oversee financial performance to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

• Process improvement: Analyze, identify, and implement improvements to streamline workflows, increase productivity, and eliminate bottlenecks.

• Quality and compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, and conduct quality assurance checks.

• Performance monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and prepare reports to inform decision-making and demonstrate operational performance.

Resource and supply chain

• management: Manage inventory, coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and oversee procurement and logistics.

Other key duties

• Problem-solving: Identify and resolve operational issues, conflicts, and challenges that arise in daily activities.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with other departments like sales, marketing, and finance to achieve strategic goals.
