Operation Manager

Pay: 5,000 - 6,000 QAR

1. Operations Management

• Plan, organize, and manage daily logistics and freight forwarding activities (Sea, Air, and Land).
• Oversee shipment execution from booking to final delivery.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation for imports and exports.

2. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Lead, train, and supervise the operations team.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

3. Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring service excellence.
• Handle escalations and resolve operational issues promptly.

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate operational records for audits and reporting.

5. Cost & Performance Optimization

• Monitor and control operational expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.

6. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare operational performance reports for management.
• Analyze shipment data to identify trends and improve efficiency.
• Implement KPIs to track on-time delivery, cost control, and service quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications (FIATA, CILT, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of international trade, INCOTERMS, and customs clearance procedures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and Freight Management Software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
