Job Description: -
1. Operational Leadership:
ü Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team, overseeing day-to-day manufacturing activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
ü Implement best practices in manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to safety regulations.
ü Lead initiatives to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.
2. Production Planning and Control:
ü Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and inventory management.
ü Monitor production schedules and capacity planning, ensuring on-time delivery of products and efficient use of production assets.
ü Implement robust quality control measures to maintain high product standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Team Management and Development:
ü Manage and mentor a team of supervisors, engineers, and operational staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
ü Provide guidance and support to resolve operational issues, escalate challenges as needed, and develop skills within the team to drive operational excellence.
4. Supply Chain and Logistics Management:
ü Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize material flow, procurement strategies, and distribution processes.
ü Develop relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, maintaining cost-effective supply chain operations.
5. Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing:
ü Champion lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce lead times, and minimize production costs.
ü Implement performance metrics and KPIs to track operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive sustainable operational excellence.
Skill set / Competencies
:
ü Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive change.
ü Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, quality standards (such as ISO/TS 16949), and regulatory requirements.
ü Proven leadership experience in managing large teams and driving operational efficiency improvements.
ü Proficiency in ERP systems, manufacturing software, and MS Office Suite.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹2,300,000.00 per year
