We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Operations Manager
to lead the day-to-day operations of our
Feed Mill Production
. This role plays a critical part in overseeing production, supply chain coordination, quality assurance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in feed production or agro-industrial manufacturing, with a deep understanding of process optimization, cost control, and team leadership.
Success in this role means ensuring smooth and timely feed production, maintaining consistent product quality, optimizing resource utilization, and driving continuous improvement across the factory operations. This position is central to delivering business goals and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all operations of the feed mill factory, including production planning, raw material intake, processing, storage, and dispatch.

Ensure feed production meets quality standards, nutritional specifications, and output targets.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.

Lead, train, and supervise production teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operating procedures.

Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.

Collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, logistics, and sales departments to align operational goals with business objectives.

Develop and manage operational budgets, track performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for senior management.

Ensure full compliance with local regulations, environmental, and health & safety standards.

Identify risks in operations and implement corrective/preventive actions as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering

Industrial Engineering
,
Animal Nutrition
,
Feed Technology
, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum
7–10 years of experience
in feed mill or agro-industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Proven knowledge of feed production processes, quality control, and safety standards.

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software.

Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, OEE, and cost optimization techniques.
