Position: Operation Supervisor / Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Tempe, AZ
Shift: 1st Shift – Mon to Fri – 8:00 am to 5:00pm 

Employment: Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience


Position Description:

We are seeking a results-driven Operations Supervisor – Facilities Maintenance  to lead daily work order operations, drive service excellence, and ensure KPI performance across assigned accounts. This role is ideal for a proactive operations leader with experience in facilities management, property management, maintenance operations, and service delivery oversight .




The Operations Supervisor will oversee work order management, subcontractor performance, customer escalations, and time-sensitive repairs while partnering closely with Account Management and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client service. Success in this role requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily facilities maintenance operations  and manage work order lifecycle to ensure completion within contractual KPIs and SLAs
• Supervise direct reports and subcontractors, ensuring accountability, quality control, and on-time service delivery
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, and associate development
• Manage emergency repairs, escalations, and time-critical service requests
• Collaborate with Account Management to support client satisfaction and long-term partnership growth
• Investigate and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality
• Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS)  standards and promote a culture of workplace safety
• Maintain consistent communication between customers, vendors, call center operations, and internal teams
• Monitor payment issues and resolve operational challenges proactively
  
  

Required Skills/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, property management, building operations, or service operations management
• Experience managing trades service delivery (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing) preferred
• Strong knowledge of work order systems, service coordination, and subcontractor management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation with professional and confident demeanor
• Ability to escalate issues appropriately and make sound decisions independently
