Operation Theatre Nurse

Key Responsibilities:Pre-Operative Duties:

• Prepare the OT with required instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies before surgery.
• Verify patient identity, surgical site, and consent as per hospital protocols.
• Ensure pre-operative checklist completion.
• Assist anesthetist in preparing patients for anesthesia.

Intra-Operative Duties:

• Act as scrub nurse or circulating nurse as per duty roster.
• Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and handling surgical supplies.
• Monitor patient vitals and condition during the procedure.
• Maintain accurate surgical counts (sponges, needles, instruments).

Post-Operative Duties:

• Assist in safe transfer of patients to the recovery room/ICU.
• Provide immediate post-operative care.
• Document surgical notes, nursing records, and reports accurately.
• Ensure decontamination, sterilization, and proper disposal of bio-medical waste.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
