Job Summary

Mahajan Eye Centre is looking for a dedicated and skilled OT Technician to support our surgical team in delivering high-quality eye care. The role involves assisting in ophthalmic surgeries, maintaining OT sterility, and ensuring smooth and efficient OT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the Operation Theatre before, during, and after surgeries
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during ophthalmic procedures (Cataract, Refractive, etc.)
• Handle, clean, sterilize, and arrange surgical instruments and OT equipment
• Ensure strict adherence to OT protocols, infection control, and safety standards
• Maintain OT records, checklists, and inventory of surgical consumables
• Assist in patient shifting, positioning, and preparation for surgery
• Ensure proper functioning of OT machines and immediately report any technical issues
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and OT staff for smooth workflow

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in OT Technician or Operation Theatre Technology
• Experience in Eye Hospital / Ophthalmic OT will be preferred
• Sound knowledge of sterilization techniques and OT procedures

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of OT experience
• Trained freshers may also apply
