Operation Theatre Technician

Job Summary

The IVF OT Technician assists doctors, embryologists, and nurses during fertility procedures. The role involves preparing the IVF operation theatre, maintaining sterile conditions, handling specialized equipment, and supporting procedures such as egg retrieval and embryo transfer.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare IVF operation theatre before procedures.
• Sterilize and set up IVF instruments and equipment.
• Assist doctors during egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and minor surgical procedures.
• Maintain strict aseptic and infection control protocols.
• Handle and maintain IVF-specific equipment (aspiration pumps, microscopes, incubators support equipment, etc.).
• Assist in patient preparation and positioning.
• Ensure proper handling and transfer of medical supplies to the IVF lab.
• Maintain OT records, inventory, and consumables.
• Clean and disinfect OT after each procedure.
• Follow biomedical waste disposal guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT).
• Knowledge of surgical sterilization and OT protocols.
• Experience in IVF or gynecology OT (preferred).

Experience

• Fresher or 1–3 years experience in OT / IVF setup preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
