Operational and Customer Service Executive

For DP World Logistics Service Masr - Cairo Airport Office


Job Purpose: Implement and execute Import & Export shipments handling and operations in line with overall company strategy and policies for the Airfreight and Ocean freight Business Field, to develop, and maintain profitable operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Business & Product Development:

  • Co-operate in the determination of the business strategy and execute / secure its implementation.
  • Support the acquisition of new business and support the account management.
  • Promote customer relations and develop the existing client base.
  • Support the business development process (tender analysis, solution design, costing, pricing, and service offering)

Carrier Management:

  • Implement and execute carrier’s strategy, including managing local carrier’s contacts, rates negotiations, and bilateral process in alignment to the framework of the global preferred carrier program.

Operations Excellence

  • Ensure efficient import and export Ocean operations and continuously optimises the operations
  • Increase productivity by implementing standard processes in line with guidelines and targets.
  • Co-operate in the development and implementation of business operations and reporting systems.
  • Handle shipments documentations.
  • Create & confirm shipments on system and issue invoices.

Financials

  • Manage payable process includes but not limited to obtaining original suppliers invoices and ensure proper and timely upload In System by Finance teams.
  • Manage proper and timely invoicing
  • Follow up with Clients & Finance to settle amounts.

Sales

  • Assist in key account implementation.
  • Assist sales in quotations.


Qualifications , Experience and Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferable Logistics field or equivalent)
  • 3:5 years working experience in the field of Logistics & Freight Forwarding operations, and regulations.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge about the Freight Forwarding activities, regularity compliance.
  • V. Good English Language skills
  • V. Good Communication Skills
  • Able to manage customers
  • V. Good in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Able to work with different internal and external teams and track multiple processes.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Able to cope with high work pressure.
  • Able to identify and solve the problems
