Who are we?

Volt Lines is the only technology-enabled player in the Turkish market competing against legacy incumbents and it reduces emissions and traffic by turning premium 16-seater buses into a viable alternative to single occupancy vehicles.

What we do?

In Istanbul, over 50,000 buses operate at 31% efficiency. These buses, which contribute to the city's traffic with empty seats, could also be the solution to its problem. Volt Lines is the only shuttle service provider that has both software as well as a transport service. This allows for optimal harmonization of the software and operation resulting in the creation of great experiences and services. Notable examples of these innovative services include DRT and Marketplace. DRT (short for Demand-Responsive Transport) was covered by a Harvard Business School case study that is being taught at the MBA school. Marketplace on the other hand allows companies to sell empty seats on their buses to neighboring passengers who are going in the same direction at the same time.

We're looking for an Operational Excellence Associate to join us in shaping the future of urban transportation using the latest technologies. This role combines sales execution, account management, billing ownership, and reporting responsibilities. You will support new business opportunities while ensuring strong retention, financial accuracy, and operational alignment.

Responsibilites

Routing & Optimization: You don’t just draw lines; you will handle the routing process and continuously optimize existing routes using our product. Every saved kilometer is a win for the planet.

Cost Challenge (PDS Audit): You are the gatekeeper. Before a deal is signed, you audit the cost assumptions. If a deal doesn’t make financial sense, you are the one to raise the flag before the first vehicle moves.

Seamless Payouts & Audit: On payday, we rely on realized trips, not guesses. You verify driver payouts using system data to eliminate cost discrepancies and ensure 100% financial transparency.

Launch & Execution (Producer Role): When a new client goes live, you are on the ground. You own the operation until it is stabilized, profitable, and meeting our high-quality standards.

Compliance & Risk Management: In a fast-moving startup, we don’t cut corners on safety. You ensure 100% documentation compliance for every driver and vehicle.

• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience (Engineering, Business, or Economics).
• Good command of English for reporting and internal communication.
• Analytical "detective" mindset with a sharp eye for cost control and analysis.
• Ability to stand your ground and defend data-backed insights with stakeholders.
• Proactive "hacker" spirit to solve problems in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong prioritization skills to focus on tasks that move the needle on regional P&L.
