Main Scope


The Operations Excellence Engineer is responsible for embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the company’s entire value chain to enhance customer satisfaction, improve profitability, and ensure sustainable operations. This role focuses on driving initiatives that optimize Quality, Delivery (Time), and Cost while fostering operational efficiency and innovation (Using lean manufacturing Concept)


Responsibilities


  • Support Continuous Improvement by assisting in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Gather process data, perform basic analysis, and prepare reports to monitor performance metrics.
  • Track key indicators and business metrics and highlight deviations for corrective action.
  • Participate and contribute to Kaizen events and process improvement projects.
  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis by helping to identify causes of process issues and support development of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Follow operational excellence standards, procedures, and assist in audits to maintain compliance.
  • Support Training and Documentation by Prepare and maintain documentation for process changes and assist in training sessions.
  • Work closely with teams to implement improvements and resolve issues.


Minimum Qualification Required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and/or Engineering Management from a reputable university


Skills & Experience


  • Experience of lean manufacturing system in HVAC manufacturing company is preferable
  • Participation in Kaizen events or continuous improvement projects.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing co. (preferred in assembly of mass production conveyor)
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to identify process inefficiencies.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques such as Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys.
  • Computer literate and communication skills with CAD software
  • Self-motivated and task oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional team.
