Operational Resilience Executive

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operational Resilience Executive to support the delivery and continuous improvement of our enterprise-wide resilience capabilities. Reporting to the Operational Resilience Manager, this role will play a key part in strengthening the organisation’s ability to prevent, respond to, and recover from disruptive events.

In addition to supporting core resilience activities, the successful candidate will actively contribute to infrastructure and information security-related projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance risk mitigation strategies across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the identification and assessment of Important Business Services (IBS), Critical Operations (CO), and Critical Internal Functions (CIF).
• Assist in the development and maintenance of service mapping and dependency models, including people, processes, technology, and third parties.
• Contribute to scenario testing exercises and the development of recovery strategies and impact tolerance thresholds.
• Coordinate data gathering and analysis for self-assessments, audit responses, and internal reporting (e.g., KPIs/KRIs).
• Support the implementation of improvements identified through operational resilience reviews and incidents.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and information security teams in the execution of projects that intersect with business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience.
• Monitor adherence to relevant policies, standards, and regulatory expectations relating to operational resilience.
• Participate in training, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder engagement initiatives across the organisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering fields.
• 6 years of experience in operational resilience, business continuity, risk management, or IT governance.
• Exposure to infrastructure and/or information security domains is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of resilience frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, DORA, NIST, or FCA/PRA guidelines).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
