Your future duties & responsibilities



. We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who thrives in an individual contributor role and brings a strong foundation in automation, scripting, and modern DevOps practices. This role requires not just operational experience but also the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and write production-level code and automation scripts, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive delivery excellence.






The ideal candidate will:



. Independently design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps toolchains and infrastructure.
. Develop and automate complex CI/CD pipelines, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery.
. Write, maintain, and troubleshoot Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
. Understand and contribute to existing DevOps automation codebases using Python, Shell, Batch, Groovy, etc.—not just basic scripting but structured, reusable automation logic.
. Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes clusters (via Rancher) across on-prem and Azure environments.
. Proactively monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot system performance, reliability, and scalability.
. Implement and maintain security best practices, including identifying and remediating vulnerabilities independently.
. Conduct research on industry best practices, evaluate new tools/technologies, and drive improvements.
. Apply practical experience with Git, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile delivery models.
. Use GitHub Copilot or AI tools effectively to write, convert, or refactor scripts across different languages (Shell, Batch, Python, etc.).
. Contribute to incident response, deployment support, and root cause analysis for critical applications.





Required qualifications

Btech/MCA with Hands on experience on DevOps Tools.



Technologies required

DevOps tool sets (Azure, Docker, containerization(Kubernetes), Ansible, Python, groovy, Teraform etc.)



Skills


Required Skills:



. Proven experience as an individual contributor in DevOps, with strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
. Hands-on scripting and automation skills (Python, Shell, Groovy, Batch).
. Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, and Rancher-based deployments.
. Strong working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Azure deployment models.
. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
. Practical understanding of DevOps security, including vulnerability remediation.




Nice to Have:



. Experience working with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
. Contributions to open-source, whitepapers, or DevOps blogs.
. Familiarity with log monitoring, observability tooling, or AI-based DevOps accelerators.
