Operational Specialist

Istanbul, Turkey

A leading global retailer, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to oversee our order processing workflow and enhance client relations in Istanbul, Turkey office. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and communication.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the end-to-end order processing workflow, ensuring timely and accurate completion from pre-order management to final shipment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving discrepancies and concerns among clients, commercial teams, and suppliers, ensuring accurate reflection in our systems.
  • Implement effective solutions to address and resolve any issues that arise during the order process.
  • Identify potential shipment risks and delays, proactively communicating these to clients.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding order status and any anticipated issues.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with international clients to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure clear and professional communication to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Logistics teams to resolve quality and shipping issues, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Monitor and track payments, addressing any discrepancies related to Letters of Credit (L/C) and Telegraphic Transfers (T/T).
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all payment processes.
  • Escalate complex challenges that require additional support and collaborate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
  • Seek assistance as necessary to close statuses within the given timeframe.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (Supply Chain, Textile, Operations).
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in a relevant role preferred.
  • Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of French and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with multicultural stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and perform well under pressure.
  • Skilled in coordinating efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders.
