Stone Point Credit seeks to leverage the broader firm’s deep industry knowledge and extensive network to originate, underwrite and execute transactions.
Position Overview:
The Operations Analyst will support the day-to-day operational activities of the credit platform, with responsibilities spanning cash management, trade support, reconciliations, portfolio reporting, and counterparty onboarding. This role will work closely with the Credit operations team and report to the Head of Operations. This position will be based in our Greenwich, CT office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and approval of wire transfers
- Prepare cash reporting and support liquidity management activities
- Perform reconciliations of cash and positions
- Assist with bank account setup and account opening documentation
- Support KYC processes for funds and the onboarding of new counterparties
- Process payment of fund expenses
- Assist with the booking and processing of DDTL and RCF draws
- Aggregate and post monthly portfolio pricing and valuations
- Support the private and liquid operations teams with trade settlements
- Assist with the ongoing development and enhancement of the OMS
- Participate in ad hoc projects and other operational initiatives as needed
Qualifications:- Strong academic record with Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Economics preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and SUMIFS
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage and report on large data sets
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and follow-through
- Ability to identify issues and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
- Strong project management skills
- Prior experience with wire processing and cash reconciliations preferred
- Prior operational experience with bank debt securities, including syndicated and private credit instruments preferred
- Experience with an OMS is a plus, but not required
