Operations Analyst II

Overview:

The Insurance Operations Analyst II will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects related to the setup and on-going account maintenance for RealPage Insurance clients. This includes planning, directing, and coordinating small to medium projects. RealPage Insurance specializes in structuring, forming, and managing insurance and deposit alternative programs for multifamily and single-family property owners and operators.


Insurance Operations executes a broad range of essential functions to support the various RealPage Insurance products and services such as client invoicing, cash application, escalation research, site onboarding/offboarding, refunds, etc. The Insurance Operations Analyst II will be responsible for overseeing and managing critical business processes, reviewing current policies and operating procedures, developing changes to enhance efficiency, and working across our insurance teams to implement new policies and procedures as needed. The role will work closely with the Insurance Operations Director to manage KPIS, and will provide analysis for operational performance, efficiency, improvements, and draft requirements around new product rollouts. This position will maintain and develop departmental standards and procedures through analysis and documentation of critical business processes. Professionalism, presentation of data, and ability to meet deadlines are required.

Responsibilities:
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME)Process Owner in at least two (2) or more Operations’ main processes while consistently building process and product knowledge.
  • Manage and assist in day-to-day Operations tasks including, but not limited to, setups, registrations, activations, lockbox, maintenance, billing on two (2) product platforms, as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Implementations, Operations, and Account Management to create and support the Project Plans and timelines.
  • Provide advanced training to team members and stakeholders, which could include internal team training, onboarding new hires, mentoring and lunch and learn presentations
  • Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas of improvement. Conduct time and motion studies, analyze order processing workflows, and create process maps to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Proactively suggest better approaches, processes, or methodologies to optimize Insurance Implementation projects and process outcomes.
  • Ensure business processes executed to support Insurance Implementation & Activations have documented guidelines, KPIs, and workflows.
  • Track and distribute weekly/monthly performance reports, including timeline, changes, issues, and risks, including Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Continue analysis into new relevant KPI’s.
  • Responsible for executing judgement to solve problems of moderate to high complexity; troubleshoots and recommends solutions to implementation problems or challenges.
  • Report, evaluate, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues associated with the client engagement in a timely fashion, escalating when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work after regular business hours as needed to guarantee deliverables are met

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Business Management, or similar field.
  • Experience with BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environments
  • Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, and MS Teams
  • Experience within the Insurance and or multifamily industry is desired.

The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for extended of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

Pay Range: USD $70,700.00 - USD $120,300.00 /Yr.
