Scope:
lead and optimize the operations of the Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) and Alkylation Units. This is a critical leadership role responsible for operational excellence, safety, reliability, and continuous improvement within a complex refinery environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of FCC and Alkylation units to ensure safe, stable, and efficient performance.

Drive adherence to HSSE standards, process safety management (PSM), and regulatory compliance.

Manage unit performance KPIs including throughput, yield, energy efficiency, and product quality.

Lead, coach, and develop operations teams including shift supervisors and engineers.

Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Planning, Technical Services, and Inspection teams to ensure asset integrity and reliability.

Lead unit troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.

Support turnaround (TA) planning, execution, and post‑TA performance follow‑up.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices to enhance operational excellence.

Support Management of Change (MOC), operating procedures, and risk assessments.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in
Chemical Engineering
or related discipline.

12+ years
of refinery operations experience, with strong exposure to
FCC and Alkylation units
.

Proven leadership experience in area or unit operations management.

Strong knowledge of refinery processes, safety systems, and operational excellence frameworks.

Excellent communication, leadership, and decision‑making skills.
