Job Overview:
The Operations Area Specialist are responsible for meeting, greeting, and registering guests and residents, as well as maintaining the safety of the property. This position requires adaptability to different situations and the hours may change in the future. Must possess strong leadership, communication and time management skills. Detail oriented and able to multi-task. Responsible for quality, consistency, safety and overall customer service presentation to residents and guests. Able to understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures; monitors and operates electronic security control systems; and accurately maintains daily logs, records and forms.
Your Responsibilities:-
Assists in vacation, sick time, leave of absence, and emergency callouts.

Assigned to a specific region.

Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication and time management skills.

Adheres to company policy in all assigned properties.

Needs to have reliable form of transportation and mobile communication.

While on duty must be in Company approved attire and/or uniform, and follow the Company dress code and policy

When on assignment, keeps work area clean.

Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment. Any safety issues must be brought to the attention of the Community Manager immediately.

Responsible for checking the Fire Alarm panel to ensure that it is in a normal status. Reports any indicated troubles in writing to the Property Manager immediately.

Required learn and follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g. Evacuations, medical emergencies and natural disasters)

Prepare and review written documents. (e.g., daily logs, inspections, reports).

Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.

Reports on all complaints/issues to Security Coordinator

On call 24/7 for emergencies and call outs assigned by Security Coordinator
- Supervisor including but not limited to weekends and Holidays.
Skills & Qualifications:-
High school diploma or equivalency required.
- College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
- Must possess strong customer service background.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of business experience in a similar position preferred.
- Command of information system hardware/software is required. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Physical Requirements:-
Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
- Work in an upright, standing, or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Handle, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
- Ability to navigate the building/property quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions.
- Complete all required forms.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on building requirements.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and callouts in a timely manner.
