Position Overview
The Operations Associate provides operational and administrative support to Partner Solutions client-facing operations and senior leaders. This team member will take direction from and sit on the Partnerships team and will have the chance to work on initiatives with colleagues across the firm to support these efforts.
This position generally reports to an Associate Director, Partner Solutions.
What You’ll Do
Administrative Support

Provide administrative and logistical support to partner non-profit leadership

Act as a central coordinator for all incoming partner non-profit communications, directing and escalating to appropriate stakeholders as appropriate

Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and raise issues to stakeholders

Other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
Operational Support

Support general administrative budget management, supporting the timely and efficient administration of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

Support regular and ad hoc data management and reporting efforts

Provide project management and support of discrete initiatives as requested, including process improvement and development, board meeting prep, and metrics and accountability support
What You’ll Bring

2-3 years of relevant work or internship experience
-
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with operational and administrative support and CRM database management

Familiarity with the model of fiscal sponsorship, preferred

Shown interest in philanthropy, nonprofits, foundation operations and management, preferred

Appreciation for efficient processes and a desire to improve them

Ability to prioritize effectively and manage towards multiple deadlines simultaneously

Excellent time management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation And Benefits
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. Our salary ranges are based on national compensation benchmarks of similar sized companies in professional services. This position is eligible for an annual bonus at 3% of the annual salary.

Location Requirements
This is a full-time position. The position can operate on a hybrid schedule, preferably based in our Washington, DC office. It can also operate on a hybrid schedule in our Durham, NC office, or it can be fully remote from the following locations: Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, or Virginia.
If a new hire is within proximity of our Washington, DC or Durham, NC offices, the expectation during onboarding (~90 days) is that you come into the office a minimum of 3 days per week. After this onboarding period, employees can then come into the office on a more flexible schedule with the remaining days worked at home/remotely.
