Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations & Business Development Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations while driving business growth. This role requires strong leadership, production management skills, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality output.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to meet delivery timelines.
• Manage inventory, raw materials, and production resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and company policies.
• Identify process improvements and implement strategies to optimize factory performance.
• Coordinate cross-department activities (production, QA, logistics, admin).

Business Development & Sales

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the company’s customer base.
• Handle sales inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up on customer orders.
• Build strong relationships with existing and new clients in the manufacturing sector.
• Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer need to create new business opportunities.
• Work closely with the production team to align customer requirements with factory capabilities.
• Support negotiation of contracts and pricing with customers.

Administration & Reporting

• Prepare and review operational reports, production data, and sales performance.
• Ensure accurate documentation of orders, inventory records, and operational processes.
• Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Supervise and guide administrative staff when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, sales, or business development.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic manufacturing software (ERP/MRP is a plus).
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in production or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process improvement, or quality control principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
