We are currently seeking a Central Control & Operations Engineer to lead and oversee activities within major transit projects.

Responsibilities
- Review and validate control system designs, OCC layouts, operational workflows, and system interfaces for compliance with Employer Requirements and contract provisions.
- Coordinate integration between Metro Line Operation Control Centre (OCC) and Transportation Control Centre (TCC), ensuring seamless exchange of operational data and real time information.
- Support testing and commissioning activities related to signalling, ATC/ATO, communications, SCADA, rolling stock operations, and overall system performance monitoring.
- Monitor system operability, RAM performance, control logics, and operational safety functions during construction, testing, and trial running phases.
- Participate in NCR processes, inspections, and verification tasks to ensure all control and operations systems meet quality, safety, and technical standards.
- Assess operational scenarios, degraded modes, emergency response processes, and control room procedures to confirm readiness for automated metro operations.
- Coordinate with PMCM teams, contractors, O&M entity, and stakeholders on operational procedures, interface resolutions, and system performance reviews.
- Prepare technical reports, operational assessments, integration updates, and progress documentation for Employer review as part of PMCM reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related discipline, with 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in metro or rail operations, OCC/TCC functions, automated train operations, signalling systems, and real time control & monitoring environments.
- Deep understanding of system integration across signalling, telecoms, traction power, platform screen doors, rolling stock systems, and station operations.
- Proven ability to review and interpret technical documentation, operational procedures, test reports, control system submittals, and compliance materials.
- Familiarity with RAM requirements, operational readiness preparation, degraded mode management, and safety critical systems in automated metro operations.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a complex, multi disciplinary environment.
