Operations Control Senior Officer

Location: Assigned Fulfillment Center (FC) (Dubai or Sharjah or Abu Dhabi)

Job Purpose

The Operations Control Sr. Officer oversees daily operational control and order readiness activities within the assigned Fulfillment Center. The role ensures that every order meets Floward’s accuracy, quality, and presentation standards before dispatch. As the on-ground control owner for the FC, this position enforces SOP compliance, supports readiness workflows, and provides daily performance updates to the Lead – Operations Control (Country).

Key Responsibilities

1. FC-Level Control & Order Readiness

• Execute end-to-end verification of all orders processed in the FC.
• Ensure packaging, labeling, and presentation follow Floward's readiness standards.
• Monitor order flow to prevent delays and ensure smooth dispatch operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized control area aligned with SOP discipline.

2. Quality Assurance & SOP Compliance

• Enforce Floward’s SOPs for packaging accuracy, labeling, handling, and readiness checks.
• Identify incorrect orders, quality failures, or process deviations and fix them on the spot.
• Conduct daily quality checks and readiness audits.
• Maintain a standard of operational discipline across the FC.

3. Coordination & Issue Resolution

• Work with FC Leads, Logistics, and Operations Agents to maintain workflow continuity.
• Act as the first escalation point for FC-level readiness or accuracy issues.
• Report recurring issues or high-risk gaps to the Lead – Operations Control (Country).
• Support coordination with drivers/logistics teams on dispatch timing and readiness.

4. On-Ground Team Guidance

• Guide Operations Agents on daily control steps and packaging accuracy.
• Conduct brief pre-shift huddles on priorities and readiness expectations.
• Support on-the-job training for new control staff within the FC.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate logs on quality checks, rework, exceptions, and readiness KPIs.
• Submit daily summaries and weekly FC reports to the Lead – Operations Control (Country).
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards for internal audits.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of operational experience in fulfillment, warehouse, QC, or last-mile settings.
• Strong practical knowledge of order readiness, packaging accuracy, and control workflows.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume operational environments.
• Strong communication, coordination, and attention to detail.
