Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator with strong experience in Supply Chain and Logistics operations — handling Land, Sea, and Air imports documentation and coordination. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, hands-on experience with Dubai Trade and Customs, and the ability to efficiently manage daily logistics processes from quotation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full documentation for Sea, Land, and Air imports and exports across various commodities.
• Communicate effectively in English with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and Dubai Customs departments.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, DNATA, airlines, clearing agents, and transporters for smooth shipment processing.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and WhatsApp for communication and reporting.
• Request and compare freight quotations to ensure competitive pricing and profitable margins.
• Book shipments directly with shipping lines, airlines, and DNATA, ensuring best service and cost efficiency.
• Monitor vessel/carrier movements until arrival at POD and follow up on customs clearance, inspections, and delivery.
• Track and update all import/export shipments, ensuring on-time clearance and delivery.
• Maintain a document archive and update the shipment database regularly.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Support sales and telemarketing activities to generate new logistics opportunities and enhance customer service.
• Supervise daily logistics operations and ensure performance targets are met in line with company objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination or shipping operations (Land/Sea/Air).
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Trade, Customs, and Shipping Lines procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and communication platforms.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Experience in import/export documentation and coordination is mandatory.
• Can do attitude towards work.
