About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our growing residential homebuilding team. This position plays a key role in keeping day-to-day operations organized, ensuring a seamless experience from contract to closing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys balancing administrative precision with hands-on coordination of design and construction details.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Construction Coordination
- Maintain and update construction schedules, job start documents, and permitting trackers.
- Assist in preparing purchase orders, verifying invoices, and coordinating vendor deliveries.
- Track project milestones and communicate updates to internal teams, trade partners, and leadership.
- Support construction managers with administrative tasks and project documentation.
Design Coordination
- Serve as the liaison between homebuyers, designers, and construction teams throughout the design-selection process.
- Schedule and manage design appointments, maintaining accurate records of all selections and change orders.
- Ensure design specifications are documented, approved, and communicated to field teams and vendors.
- Coordinate material orders and verify that design choices align with availability, budgets, and timelines.
- Support setup of design displays or model home interiors as needed.
Customer & Sales Support
- Prepare homeowner documentation, contracts, and orientation materials.
- Assist with scheduling buyer meetings, walkthroughs, and warranty appointments.
- Maintain a professional, client-focused approach in all interactions.
Office & Administrative Operations
- Prepare weekly progress reports, budgets, and project summaries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files.
- Support leadership with process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in residential construction, homebuilding, or design coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar project management software preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction terminology, plans, and design materials.
- Exceptional communication skills and customer service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
