Operations Coordinator - Aldar Retail Management

Al Jimi Mall is looking for a passionate Operations Coordinator - Retail to play a hands on role in the day to day operations of Aldar's retail portfolio in Al Ain. This role offers exposure to live mall operations, close collaboration with retail tenants, and the opportunity to be part of a team that keeps vibrant shopping destinations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Operations & Service Coordination
  • Support daily mall operations including security, housekeeping, maintenance, parking, and customer service.
  • Ensure consistent service quality and operational standards across assigned retail assets.
  • Monitor on site service providers and support compliance with agreed service levels and SLAs.
Tenant Engagement
  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for retail tenants.
  • Coordinate tenant access, maintenance requests, fit out activities, and operational approvals.
  • Proactively follow up on tenant issues to ensure timely resolution and strong working relationships.
Health, Safety & Mall Compliance
  • Support health & safety practices to maintain a safe environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff.
  • Assist with inspections, audits, incident reporting, and corrective action tracking.
  • Support emergency preparedness, drills, and daily safety compliance within an active mall environment.
Events, Activations & Peak Trading Support
  • Support operational planning and execution of mall events, promotions, and activations.
  • Provide operational coverage during peak trading periods, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Assist with special projects and cross mall operational initiatives.
Reporting & Coordination
  • Maintain accurate operational logs, permits, and documentation.
  • Prepare routine reports and trackers related to mall operations, incidents, and service performance.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams including Leasing, Marketing, and Facilities to ensure seamless mall operations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in retail mall operations, facilities management, or property management.
  • Experience within the UAE retail or mixed use environment is preferred.
  • Multi site or shared services experience is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage operations across multiple assets in a structured and disciplined manner.
  • Excellent communication skills; English is mandatory, Arabic is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, problem solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
  • Customer focused approach aligned with Aldar's service excellence standards.
