Big River Disposal is growing and we’re looking for a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Operations & Customer Support Coordinator. This role is the heartbeat of daily communication—handling inbound calls, following up on leads, managing customer accounts, posting payments, and helping keep drivers and routes running smoothly.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Support & Lead Management
- Answer inbound customer calls and messages (dumpster orders, service questions, pickup requests).
- Follow up with all new leads and open inquiries to convert them into scheduled jobs.
- Provide friendly, professional communication representing Big River Disposal’s brand.
Billing & Account Follow-Up
- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances with a polite, professional approach.
- Take payments over the phone and apply payments in the system.
- Assist with monthly billing runs and invoice reconciliation.
Operations & Routing Support
- Upload and update daily/weekly routes into routing software for drivers.
- Enter new jobs, pickups, deliveries, and service changes accurately.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure routes are updated and optimized.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain customer records and job logs.
- Assist with reporting and daily operations tasks.
- Communicate with management about trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong phone presence and customer service ability.
- Good computer skills; able to learn routing and dispatch software quickly.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment.
- Collections experience is a plus (but not required).
- Experience in a waste-management, trucking, or logistics setting is a big bonus.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
