Job Overview
As an Operations Engineer, you'll work in the oil and gas industry performing technical field operations. You'll handle equipment, analyze data, and work directly with clients at well sites. This role requires technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a field environment.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in daily safety meetings and report any issues promptly
Maintain equipment and work areas in safe, presentable condition
Monitor and analyze data to recommend solutions to clients
Plan jobs, prepare equipment, execute field operations, and submit required documentation
Be available to respond to customers, as needed
Test and maintain tools according to company procedures
Build and maintain positive client relationships
Manage inventory and supplies at well sites
Follow up on equipment failures and participate in failure investigations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; preferably Mechanical or Petroleum
1-2.5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and/or hydraulics
Strong math and computer skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Good communication skills
Physical capability to perform field tasks
Time management skills

Travel requirement: Up to 10% (may include domestic and international travel)
