Operations Engineer

Job Overview

Our client in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Operations Engineer to support plant operations, mechanical maintenance, and engineering activities. The role involves overseeing repair and maintenance of mechanical and pneumatic components, ensuring compliance with OEM standards, and supporting operational efficiency within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of mechanical and pneumatic components
• Ensure all maintenance work meets OEM standards and client specifications
• Supervise functional testing of overhauled components including pressure and flow verification
• Monitor and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and systems
• Maintain service records and operational logs in a timely manner
• Collect and analyze operational and engineering data for reporting
• Ensure the use of proper tools and calibrated instruments
• Monitor PPE usage and safety compliance within the team
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and clients to achieve operational goals

Requirements

• BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience, OR
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6 years of experience

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates with experience in the following industries are preferred:

• Power Plants
• Fertilizers
• Steel
• Cement
• Paper Manufacturing
