Key Responsibilities
- Develop and define project objectives by reviewing project proposals, drawings, and execution plans, and coordinating closely with management and stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed project designs, conduct feasibility studies, and perform site inspections to ensure constructability and compliance.
- Plan, monitor, and control project execution to ensure timely delivery within approved schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Prepare, update, and manage detailed work schedules for manpower and site activities to maintain smooth workflow in accordance with the approved program.
- Independently manage and supervise site activities, ensuring proper coordination of manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors without direct supervision.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate delays, risks, or cost overruns.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, contract documents, and local authority requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control inspections to verify that executed works meet approved drawings, specifications, and finishing standards.
- Review contractor and subcontractor submittals, including prequalification documents, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
- Monitor subcontractors’ performance and workmanship, ensuring all works are executed in accordance with contract requirements.
- Analyze project risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to optimize cost, time, and quality outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, records, logs, and correspondence.
- Review and evaluate contractor claims, including Extension of Time (EOT) and Variation Orders, and provide technical analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil works and assist in cost control activities.
- Review monthly progress payment applications and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Ensure client requirements and expectations are met and maintained throughout all project phases, adapting to evolving project needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in a similar role, with 2–5 years of proven experience in Dubai / UAE.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, finishing standards, and quality control procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage construction sites independently.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and civil engineering design tools.
- Strong skills in site development, planning, scheduling, and construction methodology.
- Solid understanding of BOQ preparation, cost control, and contract administration.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
