The Operations Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth business functioning. This role focuses on process coordination, execution, reporting, and cross-department collaboration to improve efficiency and support business goals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor workflow and resolve operational bottlenecks
2. Process Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, logistics, vendors)
- Ensure proper handover and execution of projects and tasks
- Follow up for timely closures and deliveries
3. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Maintain records, trackers, MIS, and process documentation
- Analyze data to identify areas for operational improvement
4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and partners
- Ensure SLAs, timelines, and quality standards are met
- Handle vendor onboarding and basic negotiations if required
5. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure operational processes follow company policies
- Conduct checks to maintain quality and accuracy
- Assist in audits and compliance-related activities
6. Problem Solving & Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvement solutions
- Support automation and optimization initiatives
- Address operational issues proactively
7. Administrative Support
- Assist management with coordination tasks
- Manage schedules, approvals, and internal communications
- Support onboarding of new team members operationally
Required Skills & Qualifications Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or related field
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
- Basic understanding of operations, reporting, and workflows
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, administration, or coordination roles
- Experience in startups, agencies, e-commerce, or corporate operations is a plus
