Job Description – Operations Executive
As a Operations Executive at VRG the role demands ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operational activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory directives, and supporting collaboration with partner banks, telcos, and regulators. The candidate requires strong attention to detail, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary liaison for correspondence with banks and regulators, ensuring timely resolution of operational matters.
  • Facilitate regulatory requirements, including preparation and submission of reports, reconciliations, data scrutiny, and compliance checks as per SBP and other regulatory authorities’ guidelines.
  • Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial reports to internal teams, the Finance Department, and partner banks for accurate reconciliation and settlement.
  • Maintain, update, and share transaction logs, exception reports, and system records with relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and audit readiness.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of banks & partners, including execution of UATs, certification cycles, and product launches.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings and reviews between VRG management, regulators, and member banks’ business and product teams.
  • Monitor operational processes and highlight risks, discrepancies, or potential issues to the Line Manager for timely resolution.
  • Assist in business continuity and disaster recovery activities, ensuring VRG remains operationally resilient.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Technology, Compliance, and Product) to ensure seamless execution of new initiatives and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other tasks and special assignments delegated by the Line Manager or senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial services, banking operations, or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of transaction processing, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting in Pakistan’s payments ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), familiarity with banking systems or payment platforms is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict timelines.
